Anne Steinhoff is a Lecturer in Accounting at the University of Essex. She undertook her PhD at the Essex Business School and the Centre for Ideology and Discourse Analysis. Anne studies the political nature of performance measures in workplaces. For this, she draws on the lived experiences of employees with the autoimmune disorder coeliac disease. She is interested in the contextualisation of inclusion, performance and inequality at work and the fantasies that sustain dominant societal understandings and practices of these terms.
